We’ll have to swap books once I’m done with Thinking Fast and Slow. I suspect it’s more robust than Blink, based on what I know about Gladwell. I think I’m going to get a lot of interesting articles from this book. There’s so much that applies to board gaming.

It was really interesting and he discussed how our subconscious mind makes these snap decisions which can be both extremely powerful and also highly influenced by preconceptions or biases we’re often unaware of. I’d recommend the book, but there weren’t really good conclusions in it. He goes through a bunch of case studies and raises the issues that can arise, but doesn’t offer much in the way of solutions or advice going forward.
