It doesn’t matter which battles you win or lose, what matters is who wins the war. Winning battles along the way strengthens you, but doesn’t guarantee a win. You felt bad because you almost pulled a come-from-behind victory? Not because you still lost, but because you almost won? That’s pretty messed up.
